Free Heritage Open Day & Emergency Services Day
Saturday 11 September
From 10.00 Join in the fun with our local emergency services. Climb aboard a fire engine, inspect an ambulance and see some of the latest police vehicles.
Admission FREE on this day to all visitors
Story Telling for 0 to 5 Year Olds with Josh
Stories repeated at 1.30, 2.00, 2.30 and 3.00 in the Power House
Bring your little one along to meet Josh and his animated story telling. He will be entertaining 0 to 5's with his lively and exciting stories about the people and animals of Waddesdon Manor, and as it's the Emergency Services Day, we might learn about the local policemen too!
OCTOBER
Fun for all the family this half term.......
Join us for a terrifying trail around the garden (£1.00), watch a scary film in the Power House, have your face painted with spiders, join in with one of our 
fun craft activities, take part in our Big Draw Giant Spiders Web creation and follow all this with a spooky lunch in the Stables Café.
Children's Tour of the House
Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 October: 11.30
Meet at the front door for a tour of the House, before it opens to the public,
with your very own Waddesdon Manor guide. Children and one accompanying adult admitted FREE. All other adults £5.00. Normal admission charges apply to House and Gardens for additional adults.
Children's Sewing Workshop
Wednesday 27 October: 10.00 and 2.00 and Friday 29 October: 10.00
Spend a couple of hours with a member of Waddesdon staff and learn how to sew a simple project. Whether you're a complete beginner or budding designer, you'll have a great time and make something unique to take home. Suitable for ages 8-14 years.
£15.00 per person
(One accompanying adult will be admitted free of charge, for all other accompanying adults our normal admission charges apply)
