Following on from the success last year of our inaugural chilli festival, this year we will have more growers and more chillies to see and taste.

During the weekend there will be a large range of food tastings with hints, tips and recipes from chilli growers across the UK, as well as chilli plants, dried chillies, chutneys and sauces. Waddesdon's in-house catering team will be providing fresh Hot Chilli and Rice, handmade Chilli Chocolate Lollies and fresh crépes with a range of fillings or enjoy something from the barbecue supplied by Gilly's. We will also be offering our own 'Mexican' mole sauce - ready for your Christmas Turkey!

Live Music! A massive hit from last year, Pablo Mariachi el Mexicano, www.mariachitequila.co.uk , will be returning to perform at this years Chilli Festival! Authentic Mexican singing in full dress, not to be missed! Signed copies of Pablo's CD 'Mariachi Tequila' will be available to buy during the weekend.

As part of our Artist In-Residence you will also be able to watch local artist Jessica Ecott creating some of her kiln formed glass designs including wall panels, vases, jewellery and bowls. Some of her works will be on sale.

Local jewellery designer Caroline Katz from www.pinkkatz.co.uk will also be here throughout the weekend with her handmade jewellery. Caroline will be taking bookings for her local jewellery courses and demonstrating her work.

On sale in the Plant Centre shop will be a selection of books on all aspects of Chilli growing and cooking with chillies. We will also have Chilli Red Ice Cream supplied by Purbecks - definitely a taste not to be missed!
