Much Ado About Nothing? Not This Time! Summer 2008 sees The Lord Chamberlain's Men present Shakespeare's sparkling summer comedy Much Ado About Nothing. From May to September, Britain's premier all-male theatre company will be touring the country with their production of Much Ado About Nothing. The open-air play which encourages audience members to bring along picnics, deckchairs and a glass of something chilled, promises to be as original and entertaining as last year's critically acclaimed Romeo & Juliet. A brief plot synopsis...... The men of Sicily return victorious from war. The waiting women are ready for romance. Couples form and summer weddings are planned. All is going smoothly in this delightful comedy, when a jealous brother sets a lie in motion. Suddenly betrayal becomes the theme and audience favourites, Beatrice and Benedick, must now work together to save the honour of an innocent girl.
