Half-term's a hoot this year at Waddesdon Manor, with an 'owlfully' good Halloween trail, horrible Halloween games, pumpkin carving and undercover art and craft activities.

There’s lots to keep the kids occupied every day from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October, so drop in for a frighteningly fun time!

Activities will take place at the Summer House each day from Saturday 24 October to Saturday 31 October (including Monday 26 and Tuesday 27) from 10am-3pm.  Normal admission charges apply.

Follow our Halloween Hoot trail and see how many of Mimi the Mynah's owl friends you can spot in fancy dress.  Collect stickers for each one you can find to complete your owl tree trail.

Halloween pumpkin carvingBe creative and carve your very own pumpkin.  Come early - we have a limited edition of 1,000 pumpkins grown just for us.  Or if you were here for Plant it, Grow it, Eat  it, and planted a pumpkin back in May please do bring it along for carving (no charge if bringing your own)

Join in with free children’s activities throughout the day and get up close and personal with one of the nation’s favourite owls.

Witches Broom and Pumpkins, NT Images, Photo: Nadia MackenzieJoin trainee spell-casters Winnie the Witch and Warwick the Wizard as they practise their art.  Mind your heads as their spells zip and sing about the skies, and keep an ever-watchful eye on their spell book - it holds secrets that even they sometimes don't know.  Help them collect ingredients for their magic potions, but be careful, they're not always sure what the results will be!  Pluck up courage and risk trick or treat in our Horrible Halloween Games - 50p a go
