This course run by Marcia Waters, Master of Wine, aims to reveal some basic concepts of taste, flavour and aroma. Why are they so seductive? Why is it that smells can trigger strong memories? The tasting inclukdes six wines, which cover the basic grape varieties and illustrates what to expect at different levels. The theories of wine and food matching will then be tested by sampling certain ingredients and prepared foods with the wines.
