For 2009 we are offering a new series of hands-on workshops, led by the curators who will demonstrate the characteristics and qualities of different areas of the collections, explaining what to look out for and how to recognize altered pieces or fakes. Participants can bring in objetcs from their own collections, or photographs. There will be four one-hour sessions during the day, with an opportunity to tour the Collection before or afterwards. Subjects covered include Silver, Sèvres porcelain, Furniture, Prints and Drawings.
