EXPLORER TRAILS | VIDEOS

Waddesdon’s gardens are ideal for bringing a group to explore aspects of the Life and Living Processes areas of the Key Stage 2 Science curriculum. The first trail is devoted to science, especially for children aged 7-11 (Key Stage 2), although older and younger children will also gain a lot from their learning experience. Adults will be amazed at the amount they discover themselves! Our main theme is to ‘observe, record and respect’ the natural environment and you will learn about:

 Plants, Animals and their Habitats
 Conservation
 Food Webs
 Rocks and Soils
 Climate Change

Before you come, view the Introductory Videos, print out the Explorer Trails Guide and, if you want to dig deeper, either the Teachers Science Pack or Family Science Pack. You can also pick up copies of these guides during your visit to Waddesdon Manor. The packs and guides are all PDF resources and you will need Adobe Reader to view and print them.
