Learn & Play
At Waddesdon, we take learning and play to a whole new level.
We have a comprehensive learning pack for schools, and a fantastic explorer trail to encourage inquisitive minds and adventurous spirits.
There is always heaps to see and do, just for children. From house tours to garden trails and quizzes, it’s a great place for a family day out or a school visit. And with acres of grounds and our woodland playground, it’s the perfect place to burn off excitable energy in the school holidays.
Don't forget to come and visit our beautiful working aviary, painted in blue and gold, and meet the colourful feathered residents, some of whom are endangered in the wild.
Are you learning about spring flowers and creatures? Or discovering all about art? Our schools programme is based on the current curriculum – and is suitable for all ages.
As well as the House and Gardens, we also have a well-stocked plant centre with café, working farmland and The Five Arrows hotel within the estate.
