Opening Times
On both Saturday and Sunday MAD starts from 10.00. House entry is available from 11.00, staggered at 15 minute intervals, last entry 2.30, house closes at 4.00. Tickets are available in advance tel: 01296 653226, Mon-Fri, 10.00-3.00 or can be purchased on the day.

By Rail: Regular train services run from London Marylebone to Aylesbury. For information on times and fares click here: chilternrailways.co.uk or tel: 08456 005 165 Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30.  Taxis are available outside Aylesbury Station, Waddesdon is 12 miles.

By Bus: Bus service from Aylesbury: Arriva The Shires no 16/17. For information about bus timetables and fares telephone 0870 608 2608.

By Taxi: Regular taxis run from both Aylesbury and Bicester.

By Car: Directions from London (allow 1.5 hours from central London)
Take M40 to Junction 7. Turn right towards Thame.
At first roundabout, take second exit towards Aylesbury.
At next roundabout, take first exit towards Long Crendon.
In Long Crendon turn right towards Chearsley and Waddesdon.
In Chearsley, as the road swings to the right, go straight ahead into Winchendon Road towards Waddesdon.
Continue until T-junction with A41. Turn left into Waddesdon village.

Directions from Oxford (allow 45 minutes)
Take A34 to Bicester.
At roundabout, take scond exit towards Aylesbury.
At next roundabout, continue on A41 towards Aylesbury.
Continue for about 10 miles and enter Waddesdon village.

Directions from Milton Keynes (allow 45 minutes)
Take A45 towards Dunstable.
Take A4146 to Leighton Buzzard.
At Leighton Buzzard follow signs to Aylesbury on A418.
In Aylesbury follow signs to Bicester and Banbury on A41.
Continue for about 5 miles and enter Waddesdon village.

Directions from Birmingham (allow 1.5 hours from central Birmingham)
Take M40 to Junction 9. Take A34 towards Bicester.
At first roundabout, take second exit towards Aylesbury.
At next roundabout, continue on A41 towards Aylesbury. Continue for about 10 miles and enter Waddesdon village.
