By rail:
London Marylebone to Aylesbury
A regular train service runs from Marylebone to Aylesbury. You'll need to take a taxi to Waddesdon - there are usually plenty outside the station.
Distance to Waddesdon: 12 miles
London Marylebone to Aylesbury Vale Parkway
As this station is located on the A41 north of Aylesbury, you won't need to drive into Aylesbury. You'll need to pre-book a taxi to bring you to Waddesdon.

By bus:
Arriva the Shires bus no 16/17 runs from Aylesbury to Waddesdon village. From there, you will have to walk the length of the two-mile entrance, which is a steep hill.

By bicycle
Aylesbury Vale Parkway station makes it easier to travel to Waddesdon by bike. From the station turn left onto the A41 towards Bicester - this is a busy road, with no designated cycle lane.
Follow the A41 into the village of Waddesdon, approx six miles. Waddesdon Manor main entrance is just past the Five Arrows hotel on your left-hand side. The driveway to the manor is approx two miles long with some steep inclines. When you arrive, you can safely leave your bike in the car park.
By car:
From London (allow 1.5 hours from central London)
Take M40 to Junction 7. Turn right towards Thame. At first roundabout take second exit towards Aylesbury. At next roundabout take first exit towards Long Crendon. In Long Crendon turn right towards Chearsley and Waddesdon. In Chearsley, as the road swings to the right, go straight ahead into Winchendon Road towards Waddesdon. Continue until T-junction with A41. Turn left into Waddesdon village.
From Birmingham (allow 1.5 hours from Birmingham centre)
Take M40 to Junction 9. Take A34 towards Bicester. At first roundabout, take second exit towards Aylesbury. At next roundabout, continue on A41 towards Aylesbury. Continue for about 10 miles and enter Waddesdon village.
From Oxford (allow 45 mins)
Take A34 to Bicester. At roundabout take second exit towards Aylesbury. At next roundabout continue on A41 towards Aylesbury. After 10 miles you will enter Waddesdon village. The Manor is signposted.
From Milton Keynes (allow 45 mins)
Take A5 towards Dunstable. Take A4146 to Leighton Buzzard. At Leighton Buzzard follow signs to Aylesbury on A418. In Aylesbury follow signs to Bicester and Banbury on A41. Continue for about 5 miles and enter Waddesdon village.
By taxi:
