GROUPS AT CHRISTMAS
Groups are welcome not only during the Main Season when the entire House is open, but also in November and December for our Winter and Christmas Season.
Our Christmas Season in the House starts on Wednesday 12 November. Each year we have a different theme, don't forget to check back later on in the year and find out the theme for 2008.
At Waddesdon Plant Centre we've imaginative gifts for gardeners, both fair weather and fanatical; vintage tools and watering cans, a selection of the best books on plants and gardens, and much more besides.
Access to Waddsdon Plant Centre for Groups in coaches can be arranged and for 2008 we are offering all members of the coach party a voucher, which entitles them to 10% off of all non-sale stock in the plant centre on that day.

Definitions
Children - 5 to 16 inclusive. Children are welcomed under parental supervision in the House. Babies must be carried in a front sling or hip carrying seat. Pushchairs are not allowed in the House.
Guide dogs only allowed in the House.
Groups 15 or more people, adults and/or children, including National Trust members. Groups must book and pay in advance. One free place per group.
Coach groups must book in advance as coach access and parking is limited. Unbooked coaches may be turned away on busy days.

Available in normal opening times, these visits may be to the Gardens only or to the East Wing and Gardens. Price includes:
• Entrance to the Gardens only or East Wing and Gardens
• Pre-allocated timed tickets for the East Wing (if applicable)
• Coach drop-off point at the front of the House
• Coach parking and drivers refreshment voucher
Catering
The restaurants at Waddesdon are small, therefore if groups wish to eat together prebooking is essential. Most group meals are served in the Stables Restaurant.
A voucher system is available for groups who wish to be flexible in their catering arrangements, and gives group leaders the opportunity to offer their members an all inclusive price. Please call 01296 653226 for more details.

Christmas Shopping and Events Shopping!
From Wednesday 29 October the Gift and Wine Shops and Waddesdon Plant Centre will be decorated and full of unique and unusual gift ideas for family and friends, in all price ranges.
The Stables Shop and Wine Warehouse in the Stables Courtyard will be open at weekends and during the school holidays.
Events
Each year we have lots of different Christmas events; a Christmas Food Market, Waddesdon Wine Fair, Festive Lunch Series, Christmas Carols and Choirs singing in the grounds. For more details see Christmas Events.
Tutored Wine Tastings
Celebrate the Rothschild family's unique involvement with some of the best known vineyards in the world. We run a number of tutored tastings, including a lavish tutored tasting with lunch or dinner. There is something to suit all pockets. Your group could join one of our organised events, or we could arrange something especially for you. Cellars Tour with a Tasting of Six Wines
A guided tour of the Cellars followed by an informal tasting with our Sommelier of six Rothschild varietal wines, exploring the different characteristics. Advice will also be offered on food matching.
£10.00 per person (minimum £100.00 per group) The Cellars Tour
A guided tour of the Wine Cellars wth particular reference to the Rothschilds' wine-making heritage and the contents of the vaults in which over 15,000 bottle are stored. It will conclude with an opportunity to taste two Rothschild wines.
£4.00 per person (minimum £60.00 per group)visit to Waddesdon, both the Manor & Stables Restaurants are available for hire in the evenings.
