WADDESDON WIN AGAIN!

Waddesdon Manor won the Tourism ExSEllence 2007 award for the Best Large Tourist Attraction in the South East region beating Chartwell, Chatham Historic Dockyard, Pallant House Gallery and Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

The judges said; "This year’s winner is no stranger to success in these and national tourism awards. It is a superbly maintained historical property, steeped in heritage, which has successfully incorporated innovation and superb customer service into its business.” The judges described the attraction as “a fabulous experience which stood out above the entries in this category with an incredibly high, consistent standard of presentation and service delivery in all areas of the operation.”

Kim Hallett, Marketing Manager who collected the award at the ceremony on Tuesday said “We are delighted that our efforts at Waddesdon have been rewarded in this way. We faced strong competition in the region and this really reflects the efforts of everyone who works at Waddesdon.”
