WOODLAND PLAYGROUND
The Woodland Playground can be accessed from either the Carpet Patch or the Stables. It winds through an adventurous trail encouraging children to test their dexterity, swinging, climbing and sliding down a slope at the bottom of which is a space dedicated to younger children.
For those of you who enjoyed our new Woodland Playground last season, we have made it even better for 2008 with the addition of a contour slide for older children and a bird's nest swing for the less able bodied.
Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 10.00-5.00. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Suitable for ages up to 14 years.
Coming soon is our Explorer Trail which will take you around two routes in the gardens, discovering all sorts of fascinating facts about animals and plants along the way. Pick up a trail on-site, or download it with lots of extra information from our website.
Inside the house, our Children's Trail and family audio tour help bring the House and Collection alive for younger visitors.
