Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome anywhere in the grounds with the exception of the Aviary and Woodland Playground. Only assistance dogs are permitted in the House and Manor Restaurant.

Getting around

On foot 
The hard-surface walking path to and from the car park is lit and takes around 25-minutes to walk. Some parts are steep, please wear appropriate footwear. There are mapped walking routes for you to enjoy.

Buses
Shuttle buses run throughout the day between the visitor car park and grounds, the last bus to the visitor car park is 5.30pm March-October. Your ticket is valid for all journeys, these can be purchased at the Welcome Pavilion. Buses are fully accessible with ramps and wheelchair spaces.

Shuttle bus all-day tickets: £2.50 adult, £1.50 child, Blue badge holders & accompanying carers free.

Parking

Free parking is available in the visitor car park. There are Blue Badge and limited mobility parking bays available.

The hard-surface walking path to and from the visitor car park is lit and takes around 25 minutes to walk to the Manor.

Blue badge holders and those with limited mobility are advised to use the designated spaces in the visitor car park and take the shuttle bus up to the main grounds and Manor.

Premium parking (private car park at top of hill): £25 per car (must be pre-booked)
